Half way through 2019. So far so good.
The highlight of the first half of the year was attending the Glock Operator course, sponsored by Glock Professional, Inc. The two day course finishes with a qualification course of fire. I was the only participant to earn the coveted four (4) star rating.
Started 2019 with a bang. Won the winter league for GSSF at my home range, Target World. To make the competition more interesting I used a range rental gun to earn the plaque! Also won the Spring League. The plaques are great. Honored.
Do note: Target World was selected by Glock Sport Shooting as the number one range in 2018. Quite an honor.
In May I attended S&W Armorer classes earning my rating on both the M&P and Shield handguns. A good experience.
In February visited Glock and GSSF down in Smyrna, GA. It was time to renew my Glock Advanced Armorer certificate. Picked up new information and skills related to the latest Glock firearms.
In January taught a great concealed carry class over by Athens, Ohio.
Ended 2018 with another series of wins in GSSF. Won all classes at Target World for the Oct, Nov, Dec 2018, Indoor Glock shoot again. Won Stock, Unlimited, Pocket and Senior Division. I am blessed!
Went down to Kentucky to shoot in the Bluegrass Regional Classic. Won some money and most proud of the team 1st Place Plaque.
Someone asked me, "what did you win?" Of course, I replied, just a plaque. What more do you need?

How is 2018 going? (Answer: Great!!)
Once again, I've won the Southwest Ohio Glock shooting competitions. Why do I share this? Your instructor should be a person that lays it on the line; a person that competes. I do. I won (all the classes, yes all) the July, August, September, 2018 Glock Shooting Sport Foundation, GSSF, competitions at Target World in Sharonville, Ohio. I won the A Class competition with my G35, .40 S&W. I won the Unlimited Class with my G19, MOS, Gen4 with Trijicon RMR sight. I won the Pocket Glock with my G42, .380 caliber. Well, this also caused me to win the Senior competition as I'm over 55 years of age. That is me in the middle.
Currently investing my time in giving private lessons. Let me know if you are interested. Also, I'm providing CCW training for Ohio. Give me a call. One of the top people I coach informed me his success this year resulted in several wins garnering him both cash and firearms as prizes!!
Just ran across this video from a few years ago. Check out this video from my Glock Professional Instructor training I received down in Smyrna, Georgia at Glock. I'm shooting a fully automatic Glock G18. A great experience in my training. https://youtu.be/8Npsw0PDmiU
Blast from 2017...
I had a great 2017 summer and fall of shooting with Glock. GSSF, Glock Sport Shooting Foundation, sponsors indoor and outdoor matches designed for shooters at all levels of skill and competitiveness. At Target World, Cincinnati, Ohio, I was fortunate enough to place first in all categories for their summer league: Stock Glock, Unlimited Glock, Pocket Glock and finally, can you believe it, High Senior. (really? I must be getting old.)
I also shot an outdoor GSSF competition this summer and won $100 for something, not sure what. I just show up, shoot and have fun.
